A continual, upbeat, danceable pulse.

TransformOnline - Music Review

This EP is an interesting and fun collection of songs. Sharing a lot in common with the danceable nature of bands like New Order and The Killers but also with some odder elements of more "out there" bands such as Gogol Bordello, The Wombats have quite a bit to offer despite giving us such a brief (19.9 minute) release. One of the things that I enjoy about these songs is that each is an individual – with its own mood and feel – but together, they all work well and make complete sense alongside each other: as any good record SHOULD be structured! So I'll forgive the brevity of this release based on that alone. But you should pick this up for a million other reasons, not the least of which is the continual, upbeat, danceable pulse. Put simply, I like it: and I'm confident you will too!
