Sorely missed NYHC outfit wraps it up.

TransformOnline - Music Review

Hmm... "new Kill Your Idols!" I first thought. No, not really. This is a reissue of a lot of old, rare, and hard to find stuff mostly from comps, splits, etc., except that it also includes the last material that the band recorded before breaking up. And it's a shame that they did. For more than 10 years, these guys were a great NYC hardcore band with a great message. And super nice guys! My band did our first tour ever with them and I was blown away entirely by their music, their message, and their amazing personalities. If you've never heard them, they were energetic, hard, fast, and as direct and straight forward as can be. Hardcore without being metal-y but never wimpy. A lot like Poison Idea or Negative Approach. This, or any of their records, would be a fine place to start for a newbie. Kill Your Idols will be surely missed in the hardcore world by a lot of people... especially me.
