Like your emo scary?

This is an easy one: Escape The Fate kick butt, plain and simple. Of the many bands who fall into their genre, these guys manage to stand out in the crowd. The closest comparison I could make would be somewhere between a really pissed off version of Jimmy Eat World and Snapcase with a bit of Atreyu thrown in. Aggressive, rougher than most, but still very much a sing-along, foot tapping good time. I highly recommend picking this one up, and I really don’t understand some of the mixed reviews I’ve seen elsewhere. I suspect that some people listened to one song and immediately lumped it in with the rest of the emo scene: how wrong they are! Like your emo scary? This is the album for you.
