Will get lost in the emo crowd.

TransformOnline - Music Review

Lightworker is an interesting album. I like it, but it will probably get shelved and only listened to occasionally. Why? There’s certainly nothing to complain about, but it just doesn’t grab me the way I feel it should. At its heaviest, noisiest end, the album is a mix of Deadguy and Snapcase-esque rage. At its lightest (particularly vocally), it’s right up there with recent Incubus. Sounds like an interesting album, huh? Not really. Good for an occasional listen, but it’s never going to be a staple. I’d be willing to bet, though, that Yesterdays Rising are probably really good live and that sometimes makes the difference. Go see ‘em and let me know!
