Yes, you will keep screaming for him.

TransformOnline - Music Review

After The Chemical Marriage, Brave New World, and Dance of Death, does Bruce Dickinson really need to further prove himself? No, but it sure is fucking awesome to have another album full of the man’s pipes!

Tyranny of Souls is a robust, meaty metal album… but then again what did you expect from Roy Z. and company? Bruce exudes less manic energy here than on his last few recorded performances, opting to lay back just a bit and let the warmth in his delivery/melodies bring home the bacon. And boy do they: not a lackluster entry here. All are winners, even if they coast more than charge. No one said metal was all about aggression: look up Opeth, Cynic, and Extol if you don’t believe me.

If you think Maiden are taking way too long to record new records (I’ve got my hand raised), Tyranny of Souls will hold you over just fine. Even outside of the man’s “main job,” the album stands as a mighty obelisk of metal.
