A breath of fresh air from some of rock's most accomplished musicians.

TransformOnline - Music Review

Jesse Leach, Jesse David: call him what you will, but that man's got talent. And that's the story of every member of Seemless. Featuring members of the widespread aural assault known as the Massachusetts metalcore scene, Seemless have used the technical precision of their past and fused it with a Southern rock meets early ‘90s grunge sound that is refreshing in a rock scene with so much similarity and repetition. From start to finish, this debut album is jam-packed with great melody and musicianship from some of the finest musicians on the scene.

The first single, "Lay My Burden Down," isn't the typical song on this album, but for my money it showcases what Seemless are all about. Everything is so different from what you'd expect from guys with such a past, but it fits so perfectly it is almost as if this is what each of them was meant for. The faster songs don't jeopardize the melodic rhythm of the album by overdosing itself, and the slower songs never dull down the album's pace. The past experiences of these guys show in ways you wouldn't expect, even in the production and mixing of the album. The pure vocals, pure riffs, and pure beats of this album just ooze musicianship. And Jesse David solidifies himself as one of metal's best vocalists, showing off a range even the biggest Killswitch Engage fan couldn't imagine Jesse having.

Overall, Seemless are a breath of fresh air from some of rock's most accomplished musicians. If you're looking for something that's just straight up great, you don't have to look farther than this album. Incorporating blues, metal, grunge, and rock, Seemless create a listening sensation that is enjoyable across the board and will have you listening for days.

Highlights: "Something's Got to Give," "The Wanderer," "Lay My Burden Down," "War/Peace."
