The ORIGINAL dirty rapper, bitches!

TransformOnline - Music Review

Listen here you freaks, dicks, faggots, maggots, leeches, and bitches: he’s back, the one, the only, the raunchy, the porno freak, the world’s baddest niggah: Blowmuthafuckingfly And guess who just signed his politically incorrect/pussy-filling correct ass? Alternative mothafucking Tentacles! Jello Biafra loves that sweet funk! He’s been called every damn thing in the book: innovator, pioneer, the devil, a bad influence, a youth corruptor… but truth be told, Blowfly is none of that!

Clarence Reid’s famous alter ego is technically your momma’s gangsta rapper. Coming out of Miami’s raunch-funk scene of the late ‘60s and ‘70s, Reid is the daddy of rap and the “Miami Sound”... his “Rapp Dirty” is the original rap song, so next time some ho tells you that Sugarhill Gang’s the bees-knees you serve them a karate chop to the face.

This here Disco Party is Blowfly’s other strength: the parody. His smooth delivery and porno translations come from his background as a songwriter (he’s penned hits for Sam And Dave, Betty Wright, and KC And The Sunshine Band). “Shake Your Ass” and “What a Difference a Lay Makes” are sure to get any uptight party turn into a Red Foxx affair, mashed potatoes and all! “Spread Your Cheeks,” “Suck It,” “Bad Fuck,” “Kiss it All Around,” and a rip-roaring version of KC’s “That’s the Way I Like It” (“Freak Out”) round out this half hour album.

Most albums from his extensive catalogue are available out there, but I encourage you to contact the fly himself to purchase them. Ice Cube, Puff Daddy, and a whole slew of others have sampled his work. Keep an eye out for his newly formed band of freaks and the upcoming album, Fahrenheit 69, which promises to continue the five-decade legacy going strong! Buy it bitches! Blowfly commands your funkafied ass!!!
