Klute "No One's Listening Anymore" (Breakbeat Science)

Deep, resonating, charismatic.

TransformOnline - Music Review

Look out Kruder Dorfmeister, cuz the enigmatic Klute has arrived to compete for your title of deep, resonating, brooding, charismatic, groovy, mysterious downtempo champ. Okay, so Klute has more elements of deep house, trance, and drum-and-bass than our favorite German duo, but it still gets the eyes a-closin’, arms a-raising’, and female hips a-grindin’. I wouldn’t be surprised to find this guy on tour with Roni Size Reprazent in the future.

 Past Constructive Criticism

Jon posted the following Constructive Criticism: Much love for paying your respect to Klute ... but to compare him to K&D, who by the way are from Geneva, not Germany, and to say "oooo one day maybe he will tour with Roni Size" as if the Reprazent crew is the epitome of success (maybe in the early 90’s, now look at the Bristol sound) is insulting. My friend you are comparing apples and oranges, and for those people who don’t know jack about Klute this is misinformation.

Closing one chapter and opening another.
Eluveitie "Slania" (Nuclear Blast)
Fails to capture a strong emotion from either side of their musical blueprint.
Portishead "Third" (Mercury)
Creating a whole new vocabulary to their language.
Death Angel "Killing Season" (Nuclear Blast)
Willing to do it when no one else will.
Nik Freitas "Sun Down" (Team Love)
Not afraid to tread the waters of pop innocence.
