Entry titles include Sin and Punishment and Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels.
Gamers were left with a surprise on Monday morning, as Nintendo of America had decided to allow import titles into their list! Along with stateside release Kirby's Avalanche, the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 (more commonly known here as The Lost Levels) from the Famicom, and the N64 Treasure shooter Sin and Punishment, which has been sought after by import enthusiasts for a long time. Import titles will cost a bit more (1200 for N64 titles, 600 for Famicom), and will contain Japanese languauge, content, or both. Thankfully, both games released today are easy to play (Sin and Punishment is recorded and worded in English).
While this is a great start, will this mean we might be getting hits from Japan we never saw before, AND will this mean a possible translation department just for import titles? Probably not now, but hopefully in the future. In the meantime, download Sin and Punishment. Do it. NOW!
