Images of Ninja Gaiden 2 had been posted on the Japanese site of XBox.com yesterday. Today, Ninja Gaiden 2 has been officially confirmed for the 360, scheduled for a 2008 release. Microsoft will be the one publishing it, instead of developer Tecmo, originator of the series.
Two classic games from the Dreamcast era were also announced as future XBox Live Arcade downloads. Rez, which was also ported to the PS2 in the U.S., and Ikaruga, ported to the Game Cube in the U.S., will be available on XBLA complete with leaderboards and achievments.
