Michael Showalter to release album

Comedian / writer Michael Showalter, most known for his involvement with The State and Stella, will release his first album on November 13th.

Sandwiches & Cats is a mixture of stand-up, sketch, and improv recorded in the studio and at shows this past July at Brooklyn's Union Hall and Chicago's Lakeshore Theater, featuring guest appearances from Janeane Garofalo and Eugene Mirman. Also included are six songs from the band The Doilies, made up of Showalter and his friend/fellow actor Zak Orth.
