Manhunt 2 recently received a second opinion from the Entertainment Software Ratings Board, lowering themselves from the dreaded "Ao" or Adults Only rating to the "M" rating. A couple bodies, including California Senator Leland Yee and the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood have publically called out the ESRB, demanding a reason for the change in rating.
According to ESRB President Patricia Vance, changes had been made to Manhunt 2 that put the game in the Mature rating. She would not state in detail what those changes were.
Senator Yee made a statement about the response to the call by the ESRB, which can be found at Gamespot's website here.
