I was talking to Tim awhile back, I try to do that as much apossible. Talking to him about what's next for reviewing or the current review is great. He is always encouraging me, and telling me that my work is good. That means alot, makes me want to write more as well. SO, anyways, he suggested that I start a blog on here...

Now, of course this would be a perfect idea for anyone working on this site, but for me... I'm not so sure. I'm the type of person that forgets where my brain is, even though it's a part of my body. Now remembering where something outside of my body that isn't connected in anyway?.... Let's just say I have a few hundred journals, all with about a few pages of text, lost somewhere in the sea of stuff that is my room. I'll do my best to remember this thing, but I make no promises.

Well, let's see... The next project I have for the Culture section will deal with games or anime that rock, but never made it stateside. There are quiet a few games that I had to import, and stubble through Japanese text to beat. Most of them were awesome and really deserve a wider audience. Same goes for anime. Lucky for me I foud this site that has fansubs (www.animesuki.com). This is great for me, because I get to see alot of anime that has either never made it here, or has yet to come stateside complete with subtitles. Of course, the subtitling isn't professional, and most of the translations are a bit off. But I'm not complaining, it's free!

The other project I'm going to work on is Ghost in The Shell, all of it. I'm going to cover everything from the manga to the new movie that Tim posted the trailer for. The reson for doing this is the sheer immensity of the story and the world that surrounds it. Though each thing is a different story, it is all in the same setting with the same characters. So to really understand the the second movie, you need to have seen the anime (which is in it's second season in Japan right now), the first movie (if youhaven't seen it, BUY IT NOW!) and read the manga (BUY THIS TOO!). Of course you don't really need to see those parts before you see the second movie, or even see them in order. There really isn't an order to them, and seeing all of the different parts would only give you further insight into the world and characters of Ghost in The Shell.

As far as videogame reviews go, I just finished playing Astro Boy and Hot Shots Golf Fore!, neither of which really did much for me. I want to do reviews for games that I really hate or really love. It gives me more to right about. But I have played a game that alot of you out there are drooling over. That game is Counter Strike: Source, and I'll be sure to do a review for that... in fact, I think I'll start that now.
