this is a hard thing for me to write about. i like music. i'm sure there's music i don't like, but i can't think of any off the top of my head. no, wait...new country. don't like that stuff (sorry mom). now, if you look at my cd shelf, i have a britney spears cd sitting 2 shelves away from a very large low collection, sludgeworth holding hands with skid row, the stereo makin' love with james taylor, and tenacious d having a heated debate with the decemberists. it doesn't really matter though because i never touch my cd shelf. i beat tim to ripping my collection so they just sit there unattended gathering inches upon inches of dust. this was my attempt at being funny but it didn't work.

movies
seven, fight club, brazil, adventures of baron munchausen, one hour photo, ferris beuller's day off, amelie, 28 days later. there are others but i'm bad at the memory game. as far as directors go you can probably already tell i'm quite fond of David Fincher and Terry Gilliam. i really like indy stuff but i'd never turn down a good loud blockbuster to make my tinitis worse.

books / authors
Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World is my favorite book. i like Chuck Palahniuk's stuff a lot, too...especially Survivor. unfortunately even though i like to read i barely ever do.

television
twin peaks, my all-time favorite. i recently finished the first season of 24 (thanks netflix) and i have to say that's a very close number two. six feet under and the sopranos, can't forget about those. but my favorite channel is HGTV...can't get enough of those home improvement shows. and those "reality shows for people who like to make stuff like monster garage and american choppers. yum. okay, i'll stop now.
